Ski area Herlíkovice

The Herlikovice ski area is located 4 km from Vrchlabi on the way to Spindleruv Mlyn. This winter centre has a double chair lift 1450 m long, a lift and well-prepared downhill slopes of all levels of difficulty. The chair lift to the Zalý hill (1019 m) boasts excellent panoramatic views to the Giant Mountains including the highest Czech peak, Snezka. The chair lift is also gateway to the cross-country routes in Benecko and Misecky.
The centre offers to skiers black downhill route with length 1400 m and exceeding 410 m and red downhill route. The followers of nice views can use blue downhill route, from here you can go to area Bubákov to other ski lift.

Knezicky vrch

The best family skiing in Vrchlabi. Ideal place for ski teaching and the only place with a snow making guns in Vrchlabi. Low prices ski lift beginners and intermediate skiers (850 m long). Our partner, ski school Lenka offers service in this area.

Ski school Lenka

The manager of this school Lenka Kebrlova - Baresova is former member of Czechoslovak national ski team. She achieved 5th place at Olympic winter games in Calgary 1988. She used her experience in Canada too at the well - known ski resort Whistler.
The school offers lessons for children and adults as well as lending of the ski equipment.

Snowtubing

New craze from the USA. The course is exciting, yet not too extreme, and suitable for the whole family. A tubing lift, so you just hook on and ride back up - no trudging up the hill draggin´ the tube!

Ski area Spindleruv Mlyn

Skiareal Spindleruv Mlyn is the biggest centre of the winter sports in Czech Republic. The centre is located 140 km northern from Prague.The area has excellet conditions for downhill and cross country skiing. Visitors of Spindleruv Mlyn find will find perfect conditions for skiing on 25 km prepared downhill slopes with snow making and 75 km prepared cross country routes. Modern well equipped centre offers skiing from 720 to 1270 m above the sea from November to April each year. Operation of centre is completed with other services: snowboard park, night skiing, 4 km long sled trace with lighting, children ski schools (SKOL MAX), snowboard school, sleigh with horses. Touristic routes for winter walking are convenient for people who do not ski.
